Population Pyramids
Norway is currently in stage 3 of the Demographic Transition model. This is due to the country still having a high natural increase and growth rate. However, this is beginning to decrease. The country is very industrialized and educated leading to less children needed to be born. Also, diseases have become more chronic than infectious and people with them can still live long lives due to medical technology. It is likely this country will enter stage 4 soon where there the population stabilizes with a natural increase of zero or lower.
