Population Pyramids
Belarus is currently in stage 4 of the Demographic Transition model. This is due to the country have a slightly higher death rate than birth rate. The population has begun to decrease as the natural increase rate is negative. Most of the country's women are educated and are working in the country. It is very likely that Belarus is industrialized and has little agriculture. As a result, children are not needed as much for labor. Most diseases in the country are chronic rather than infectious and medical technology has reached a point where those even with chronic diseases can live long lives.
